Sam Shalhoub

am Shalhoub, a native of Cambria, is a versatile instrumentalist, composer, and conductor. In addition to the guitar, he enjoys playing the entire family of clarinets, as well as the piano.

Sam successfully graduated from Humboldt State University in spring 2012 with his Bachelor of Art degree in music performance. He considers himself a "neo-romantic" classical guitarist, and loves to play 19th- and 20th-century pieces from Spain, as well as his own unique compositions.

Sam has studied with James Edwards, Marilyn Blodget and Nick Lambson and has taken master classes from Ana Vidovic and Tony Kakamakov. Currently, Sam has made himself available for private lessons at his Cambria studio for anyone interested in learning the guitar or clarinet.
